A Course to Get a Job as a Nurse in Japan

Summary

This is a course to get a job as a nurse in Japan.

Applicants must complete our prescribed training course and partake an interview with a recruiting officer at a Japanese hospital to select a scholarship student.

Those selected as scholarship students will leave Japan for one to two years as an international student at a Japanese language school and receive full tuition as a scholarship.

Scholarship details

  • 1 year course: ¥600,000~¥900,000

  • 2-year course: ¥1,200,000~¥1,800,000

They also provide lodging (paid, cheap) and part-time jobs as a nursing assistant (approximately ¥100,000 per month) at the hospital while attending Japanese language school.

Those selected as scholarship students must take the Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level 1 and the Japanese Nurses Test while studying in Japan.  If you pass these two exams, you will get a Japanese nurse's license and get a job as a registered nurse in Japan.  For reference, if you obtain a nurse's license, you will receive a salary of approximately ¥300,000, and you will receive two bonuses per year (a total bonus of approximately ¥600,000).  You will also receive various social security insurance benefits, including medical insurance.

Eligibility

  • Students or graduates of nursing colleges in Vietnam

  • Those who have or are expected to acquire a nurse's license

  • Those who have graduated or are expected to graduate from school for more than 15 years

  • Those who have no grounds for disqualification from overseas employment

 

Application Process

1) Register to our (FEA) Nurse Education Program (JNC)

2) Certificate of Completion (Complete the JNC or JNRC Course at an FEA member school)

3) Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) Level 2 or Level 3 Pass Certificate

4) Interview with the NGO supporting the medical group in Japan (in-person interview or Zoom interview)

5) Japanese language school registration and visa issuance (full tuition scholarship for 1-2 years)

6) Medical corporation dormitory provided (fees charged)

7) Doing a part-time work related to nursing care (monthly salary about ¥100,000~¥120,000)

8) Take and pass the Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level 1

9) Take and pass the Japanese Nurse Examination

10) Employment as a nurse in a Japanese medical facility (monthly salary approx. ¥200,000~¥300,000)
